MYTH - If your data is stored in the cloud, you don’t need backup.

Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, and Google Drive and their kind, are all Cloud STORAGE providers. Not Cloud BACKUP providers.

Microsoft specifically state that their OneDrive and Sharepoint Online products are not a form of backup, and you should have your own third party backup and recovery solution in place. (Microsoft Services Agreement Point 6b).
